Des is a long time Lloydminster resident with a passion for community. She has worked in a variety of fields, from retail to food service to support work, across Lloydminster and the northern communities of Alberta.
Des is Metis and strives to uplift Indigenous voices and perspectives. She currently works for Resident's in Recovery as admin, working directly with individuals attaining sobriety as well as does outreach with Lloydminster's unhoused.
Her weekend job is Prophet River Firearms, selling firearms and hunting supplies to Albertans from all over the Lakeland riding.
With a tool kit from many walks and jobs of life, Des understands the value of being a hard worker and is a fierce champion for the working class.
Des hopes that this election Lakeland will hire her to be their voice in Parliament and make rural Albertans feel like they have the representation they deserve.
